Check the day out of days

You can check the day out of days report to see, for each cast member, the shooting days they're needed. Use it to plan bookings and to spot days that clash with someone's availability.

FilmKit builds the report from the people each day's events call: the cast of every scene you shoot that day, plus anyone added to an event. See Who a scene shooting calls.

View the report

  1. In a project, click Day out of days in the sidebar.
  2. To view another board's report, choose the board from the Boards menu.
Each row is a cast member, each column is a shooting day, and the Work column counts the days they work.

To find someone, enter their name in the search field above the table. To sort the table, click the Cast or Work column heading.

Read the codes

Each cell shows a code for that person on that day:

CodeMeaning
SStart: the first booked day.
WWork: booked to work.
HHold: retained between booked days.
FFinish: the final booked day.

Codes combine when one day has more than one meaning. For example, SW is a start day that's also worked, and SWF is someone who works a single day.

A red ring around a cell means the person is unavailable that day. An amber ring means their availability is on hold. You record availability on the person's contact page. See Manage the address book.
