Set up shooting days
You can add a shooting day for each day of the shoot and give it a date, a title, a location, and the expected weather. The day's details appear on its call sheet.
Shooting days belong to a board. To work on another board's days, choose it from the Boards menu at the top of the page first.

Add a shooting day
- In a project, click Shooting days in the sidebar.
- Click .
The new day appears with the date after the last day, and its editor opens. FilmKit numbers the days in order.
Edit a shooting day
- On the Shooting days page, click the day in the table.
- In the Shooting day editor, change any of the following:
- Date: The calendar date of the day. Events on that date belong to the day. When you change the date, the day's events move with it and keep their times.
- Title: A short name, such as
Lighthouse Interiors. - Location: Choose one of the project's locations.
- Weather: The expected Condition, a description, Min temp and Max temp, and the Sunrise and Sunset times.

- In the Shooting day editor, click Fill from forecast.
FilmKit saves the forecast for the location and date to the day.
The project's temperature unit and time format come from the project settings. See Change project settings.
Duplicate, delete, or restore a day
On the Shooting days page, click the day, then do one of the following:
- Copy the day with its events: Click Duplicate day.
- Delete the day: Click Delete day, then click Delete day again to confirm.
The remaining days are renumbered. The deleted day moves to the project's Trash, and its events stay attached to it. - Restore a deleted day: In the sidebar, click Trash, then click Restore next to the day. Its events come back with it. See Restore deleted items from the Trash.
To go straight to a day's call sheet, click Open callsheet in the editor.
