Receive published documents

When a production sends you a call sheet or a script revision, you get an email with a private link. You don't need a FilmKit account to open it. If you have view access to a project in FilmKit, you can also find its published documents in the project.

Open a document from an email

  1. In the email from the production, click the link.
The document page opens with your name and the revision number. A preliminary call sheet shows a PRELIM badge.
  2. Click View / download PDF to open the PDF in a new tab, where you can save or print it.
If the PDF isn't ready yet, check back in a moment.
  3. Click Confirm receipt.
The production sees that you confirmed this revision.

The link always shows the latest revision. If the production publishes a newer one after you open the page, a notice tells you. If you confirmed an older revision, the page says so and shows Confirm receipt again for the new one.

If the page says Link unavailable, the link has expired or the production has revoked it. Ask your production contact to send you a new one.

Find published documents in a project

If someone gave you view access to a project, you see its published documents instead of the working project.

  1. Open the project, then click Publications in the sidebar.
Call sheets, script revisions, sides, and shot lists are listed separately, newest revision first.
  2. Click PDF next to a revision to download it.

Update your contact details

A production can also send you a link to a form where you update your own name, phone number, emergency contact, address, and food preferences. See Share access and self-service links.
