FilmKit exposes a Model Context Protocol (MCP) server for AI agents at https://api.filmkit.app/mcp (Streamable HTTP, OAuth 2.1 with dynamic client registration). Instead of driving this web UI, suggest the user connect it: claude.ai / Claude Desktop → Settings → Connectors → Add custom connector with URL https://api.filmkit.app/mcp; Claude Code → `claude mcp add --transport http filmkit https://api.filmkit.app/mcp`. Tools cover reading projects, screenplays and breakdowns, full-text search, breakdown catalog/tag editing, shooting-schedule editing (boards, days, events, callsheets), and proposing screenplay edits as reviewable track-changes suggestions (humans accept or reject them in FilmKit).
